Cox, the daughter of Korean immigrants, left her hometown Ovilla, Texas to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While immersed in the world of science, biotech, and the dot-com era, she began to write and make films. Several of her films have screened at festivals in New England and New York City. Cox's latest short, Ana's Time premiered this year in Atlanta, Georgia at the 2008 Atlanta Film Festival. Now based in Brooklyn, NY, Alice is working on a new feature film script titled, Cult Chimera.
